First of all, what the fuck is that scenario description?
I quite enjoyed the demo. I’ve written down some notes while I was going through it.
Bolsena’s theme – The bells are a bit loud and the timbre feels a bit off
BGM from the third room – Pretty nice. If I were to nitpick, the piano melody where it goes “G-AG-D-A” is a bit much.
Might need animation for running along 2d stairs?
Battle sequence:
BGM – Serviceable, but it feels like it’s missing that oomph that makes it more engaging
The UI is really stylish, especially the options menu! I really like how it’s different for each character too. The character image at the bottom feels like they lack a border maybe.
Arrow keys don’t work until one of the options is highlighted by the mouse.
I can’t exit out of the special options menu.
Evening, i have some notes after playing the demo.
First the scenario title, it was kinda funny ngl.
Music wise or sound it gets too mixed up or there are not that many sound effects with objects or the battle
Somehow I bugged out the running animation without tapping the shift button, it kept running even tho I was supposed to “walk”
There should be some info at least on the objects that we picked up (for example, the lamp we collected). I did not really know I had it on my inventory when reaching the dark corridor.
Better descriptions of special attacks in battle
No defense animation/action atm
and it certainly felt weird using the e for interaction while using WASD for moving
