    Personally I’d be more interested in the builds being milestones, I think that’ll help show off development better.

    The showcased dark rooms are indeed quite interesting, I hope not all rooms are this dark though unless there’s a thematic purpose to it.

    For the builds, I would also prefer if each one has something big to show rather than getting one out frequently.

    I would agree that milestones feel like the way to go as far as releasing builds. Easier to see and appreciate what progress/changes have been made between one vs the other.

    Personally, I really like the example backgrounds. The tones + lighting do a lot for the feel of the area while not being so busy it detracts from the character and makes a little go a long way for any decorative bits. For example, if I imagine the middle background with a few pieces of trash and graffiti it takes on an abandoned feel. But, if you swap the trash/graffiti for a few furniture pieces with one or two piled near the door suddenly it feels like we were defending against something that just broke through the wall.

    I also feel like having these “simple elegance” kind of backgrounds/spaces end up making the ones that are design heavy hit that much harder.
